What happens if we do not get a lot of snow?
Our seasonal rates are essential for reserving your spot on our exclusive snow service list. Due to our capacity constraints, we can only service a limited number of homes during a snowstorm. Once these limited slots are filled, we won't be able to accommodate new clients. Please note that this is a non-refundable payment and won't be carried over to the next season. As long as you remain a snow client with us, an annual payment will be required.
If there is lawn damage, who repairs it?
Peak Landscaping will be providing snow staking services to the driveway, in the event of lawn damage Peak Landscaping will repair the damage.
How does the salt application work?
If you are signed up for the salt application when we perform our final pass to the property, we will apply salt to the driveway areas. In addition to that, any time we have a potential for a freeze we will come out and apply salt.
Do I need to move my car?
You don't need to move your car; however, it is super helpful if you are able to park it in a garage if you have one. If you don't have a garage that is fine, "stacking" the cars is also beneficial. Stacking would be parking the cars in a line leaving one side of the driveway completely open. If you have nowhere to put your car, we will do our best to work around it.
Do you clean the snow off my car?
No, due to liability we do not remove any snow from vehicles.
When do you come out to plow? Do you have a certain inch trigger?
Our snow services are a zero-tolerance trigger, which means if the snow has accumulated to a plowable depth, we will dispatch our trucks to perform the snow service. The reason we do not allow certain inch triggers to be set is because if the snow is not cleared from the driveway after all day of driving over it the snow will become hard packed, if the temps get below freezing the hard packed snow will become a sheet of dangerous ice. Once that happens, we will not be able to assist in clearing the driveway.
Do you accept mid-storm clients?
No, we do not accept any clients during a storm. Snowstorms are a hectic time, and we must make sure we fulfill our commitments to our current clients. For that reason, once a storm begins, we will not accept any clients for that storm.
